Vegetarian diet vs vegan diet

Let’s start from the beginning!
Both of these diets exclude meat of any kind and fish and seafood like shrimps, mollusks. Basically everything that is alive. However these products are excluded by both diet, they are not the same.

Vegetarian diet accept consuming eggs and dairy products, honey and other animal produced products, but excludes all kind of meat – mammals, fish,  seafood, poultry or any other creature that crawl or fly.

Vegan diet as we may say is more stricter. It excludes all kind of animal products – no meat, poultry, fish, seafood, eggs, dairy, honey, gelatine and many other products that involve animals in production. It is plant based diet.

Short and simple version
Vegetarian diet – no meat, fish or any kind or living creature, dairy products, eggs, honey are allowed.
